- What genre of music? Artist, song, record label, genre, sub genre?
The genre of music I’m doing is soft pop/rock, such as the slow pop songs sung by the classic girl/boy bands. I’m doing the song Free Falling by John Mayer. The record label is Columbia records; the music is blues rock, pop rock.
- Describe style, ethos of artist/band.
The ethos of the artist is an acoustic musician; plays the guitar and or the piano, only seeing him/her for the music and lyrics. Wearing jeans and a casual jersey looking very relaxed and comfortable. Showing the true him and the presence and love of what he does.
- Describe content, narrative, themes of lyrics.
The lyrics to Free Falling are about a him falling in love with this girl, giving him teh freedom and chance to fall for who ever he likes and trying to make it work and how that free falling is about his own choice .
Describe photographic/location ideas/concepts/styles, band name ideas for print work.
The location ideas , are simple in a plain white room with him on the guitar maybe sitting on a bed , with scene cuts to him and the girl when they were together happy and then back to him for the facial expressions like he is remembering the times. The style is simplistic with the acoustic traditional setting, the music is soft rock played acoustically which gives a sense of true music being shown through with the emotions attached to the lyrics. My artist names could be Brooklyn Ireland, Jesse Jonaton or Ryan Bennet.

- Brief description of your video?
A white or plain room with simple props such as a light with little light coming out of it, a guitar and a bed , with a another scene cutting in from him and the girl when they were happy , like he was remembering it all. Whilst writing and singing the lyrics of the song.
- What are the themes, or visual styling?
Simple visual styling, basic neutral colours.
- Special effect ideas?
The burning of the fire enhances the lyrics around the bed when he sings is a possibility.
- Costume/props/mise-en-scene ideas?
Costume would be a pair of jeans and a V-neck long sleeved t-shit with his hair all to one side casually looking. Props would be a bed, a guitar, a light and a small table.
- Potential needs? Problems with idea?
Finding the right kind of people to act the part and to look like they could play the guitar, not finding a basic enough room to film in.

The performance style would be like John Mayer, Michael Buble and Enrique Iglesias.

Target Audience?: age, gender, hobbies, interests, education, occupation, fashion, social, aspirations, access and usage of internet, which TV/radio stations, [when and how often], mobile phones, iPods, gigs and festivals, technology use, twitter, blogging, downloading of mp3s, buy Cds etc, where to they watch music videos [do they search on internet or watch on TV.
My target audiences age would be from 16 to 30, mainly women because its music about love and relationships and problems. There hobbies would be music, shopping, sport, watching movies, there interests would be fashion, business keeping healthy. Education and aspirations would be anything they desire to achieve, well educated probably went through until A levels and on to UNI, social would be partying in clubs and having social gatherings to meet up with friends or relatives for coffee. The use of internet whether it’s on the computer the I-phone or a laptop would be everyday either researching or checking emails. They will all have I-pods and cell phones to keep in contact and up to date with the newest songs, designs and gossip. Festivals such as Glastonbury and T4 on the beach would be good music and interesting to go to. Face book would be a popular social website with the use of downloading music new and old including I-tunes to see the top songs. Music videos would be watched on the TV and searched on youtube if they wanted to see or find out.
- Consumption; TV or sat channels, particular programmes on TV… advert for your artist’s album [and thus its supporting video… when would you advertise it… when will your TA be watching TV?] Also websites, social networking, advertise in what mags/newspapers, at what festivals, in what types of retail outlets etc
My target audience would watch TV like MTV, E news, BBC three and E4. My artist would be on the adverts on those channels because there still quite young shows on them. Showing the advert between 8-9pm when the main stack of shows are on and most people are watching. I’d advertise in I-tunes and face book, magazines in hello and cosmopolitan, the festivals would be Glastonbury and T4 on the beach with the V festival.
