The lyrics don’t comprehend to the video all the way through, but when he sings ‘were waiting in the world to change’ someone all the way through the video graffiti’s or draws a circle symbolising the world. Then he sings ‘now we see everything that’s going wrong and those who lead it’ and we see gas masks and balaclava’s symbolising bad times that happened and how there waiting for it to be over. They graffiti guns, death and the world when he sings waiting on the world to change on the last verse saying that they want change and need it to happen because what the world is now isn’t nice.

There is no band performing which is saying that he wants the audience to hear his music as an artist.
- Actors acting and Actors performing…
There are actors acting when we don’t see the main artist they are telling the story of the lyrics he is singing, it is important because we get a better sense of the video and its meaning. They are completely different to the artist were as he is very clean and composed the actors are grungy and are spray painting walls.

No there aren’t any non music sound elements in the music video; this could be because there isn’t any need for additional speech or interpretation in the video.
How does this aid meaning of narrative, performance, artist etc?
This aids the meaning of the performance because it shows the music and the artist for what and who it is. Showing that it is the music his listeners are interested in and not the rock star performance. This is the reason for the collective and artistic video and not the performance one.
- How is the pace of edit: with tempo, against tempo, contradicting narrative and style… why, how?
The pace of edit is in time with the music video as it starts of slow so does the editing and as the song picks up pace, the editing integrates with the other actors in the video, making it flow smoothly also keeping with the style which is quite relaxed and moderate pace.

Its similar clothing to the audience with the indie/ preppy style and the same morals indicating that the world does have to change and its going to be good when it does including respect and honesty. The social influences are maybe not the same but the video is a mixture of preppy and indie so the contrast works well as not everyone is the same.
